Christmas Walnut Toffee

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
This recipe was great! My husband doesn't normally like toffee, but can't stop eating this! I doubled the batch and used a sheet cake pan instead of a 9x9.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
These cookies are great! I did use a little butter in place of the shortening (only because I didn't have enough shortening). Replaced 1/4 cup of the shortening with butter. Great recipe!

Banana Chocolate Chip Dessert

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
This recipe was fantastic! I substituted 1/3 c. Splenda for the 2/3 c. white sugar and it tasted great. My husband thought it was better than any banana bread recipe I've made before. Definitely a keeper.

Rhubarb Dream Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
This is a great rhubarb recipe. A nice sweet treat different than the traditional pie. I replaced 1 cup of rhubarb with raspberries and had great results!

Simple Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This recipe was super easy. But the flavor was nothing special. Didn't have much flavor.

Pizza Crust for Bread Machine

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This crust was super easy to make! And is the best homemade pizza dough we've ever used. We used it for a homestyle pizza and for a deep dish pizza. Both turned out fantastic! I didn't have Semolina flour, but substituted whole wheat flour and had fantastic results!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This recipe was super easy to make. Cookies tasted fantastic - a bit crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside. Way better than other dry peanut butter cookies. We added small chunks of Hershey candy bar on top for a peanut butter - chocolate flavor!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
This recipe was fantastic! I made a double batch - one 9x13 pan and two 9x9 pans. Froze one of the 9x9's and it was fantastic out of the freezer too. The other two were in the refrigerator the night before and cooked up perfectly. I used the cottage cheese, per other reviews. The sauce in this is the best ever. And the different way of layering the ingredients makes for a nice lasagna. This was the first time I made a simple dish - and received SO many compliments.

Pecan Pie Bars I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
These bars are fantastic! I followed the recipe exact, with one change. Cut the recipe in 1/2 into two 8x8 pans. They taste just like pecan pie - and maybe even a little better. Did need to cook the bars about 20 minutes longer than what the recipe called for.

Dried Cherries, Pecans and Rosemary Brie en Croute

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I used craisins instead of cherries, but otherwise followed the recipe. This is a great tasting and pretty dish to bring to any gathering.

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
The flavor of this cheese fondue was great. Took the advice of others and made the following adjustments: :: dash of mustard powder :: dash of worcestershire sauce :: replaced salt with kosher salt :: dash of minced garlic :: dash of lemon juice to the wine to help keep from clumping We served this with pear wedges, baguette bread and carrots. Also cut the recipe in half, and had plenty to serve for a group of 4 adults and 3 small children. The consistency was a bit lumpy still, but I would make this again!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I've never made these before, but they're super easy. And I would totally make them again! I did replace the shortening for butter. And drizzled a bit of white chocolate on the top.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
These were fantastic! We made a few adjustments: :: Added 1 extra TBLS of chili sauce for a bit more kick :: Marinated the wings for 3 hours, instead of 1 :: Broiled for 2 minutes at the end Be sure to use foil or some other lining - the sauce really bakes on to your dish towards the end. Thanks for sharing this dish!

Sour Cream Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I used egg beaters for the eggs and it turned out great. Only 9 points on WW with the egg beaters. 4.5 if you only eat a half piece!

1-Dish Pepperoni Cheese Pizza Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This pizza is okay. It was really easy. Trying to make a quick, but homemade dinner with two little kids running around isn't easy. But with this recipe the kids were able to help - and it cooks up super fast too. Probably wouldn't make it again. While the ease of this recipe was great, the taste just wasn't there.

This recipe is fantastic. I couldn't make them fast enough for my two little girls. We used 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 1 cup all purpose flour. Also added 1 tsp. of vanilla per other suggestions. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!
