About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Growing up in Central California, I acquired the taste for authentic Mexican food at a young age. To this day, it is still a great passion to cook Mexican cuisine, and yet I have also found a fondness for French and Ethiopian cuisine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
A favorite family tradition is making homemade salsa along with a mexican feast.
My cooking tragedies
It was a dark and stormy night...ok, it was really in the middle of the day. I was twelve years old and had just enough cheddar for the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich grilled, the burner turned off, my brother decided that he wanted the sandwich for himself. Long story short ...my sandwich ended up in about 27 pieces and my brother ended up with a black eye.

Bob Evans(R) Favorite Chili Recipe
I love this recipe! I found it a few years ago and have been making it every Fall and Winter since then. I never have to change a thing to get perfect flavor. It's best with sausage, but when you combine sausage and elk meat in a double-recipe it's absolutely brilliant!

French Onion Soup III
This is simple, cheap, and has an amazing taste. I used red onions and provolone in my version and didn't have to add any extra flavoring. Cheers to Debbie!

Feta Cheese Ball
This recipe was phenomenal. Didn't use the oregano it called for, but it was still a huge hit at Thanksgiving. Thanks for such a great idea!
