My favorite things to cook
My baked ziti has apparently gained quite a reputation -- people who haven't even tasted it talk about it. I also love to bake -- cookies (all kinds) and banana nut bread are my faves. Just recently started venturing into cooking Thai (can be challenging, but very rewarding).
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom makes delicious sauce that she learned how to make from my nanny (her mother-in-law), and nanny probably learned from her mother-in-law (my great-grandmother, from Italy).
My cooking triumphs
My boyfriend claims that once he tasted my baked ziti, he fell in love with me. I think that's a pretty awesome triumph :)
My cooking tragedies
I once made a horribly curdled fettucini alfredo. Oh, it was so bad. But I figured out what I did wrong, tried again, and it was incredible (thanks to a reipe from Giada DeLaurentiis).
