After reading previous reviews I doubled the recipe. This was my first attempt with spaetzle and I am patting myself on the back. Turned out great. Very light, not too chewy. I used the ziploc bag technique and was lamenting not having a spaetzle maker. I made a huge mess in the kitchen but the results were really good. I confess, by the time they were sauteeing in the butter I was not in the mood to chop fresh parsley so I sprinkled with dried parsley. Next time I'll chop the parsley ahead of time. We served this with the jagerschnitzel from this website.
