Great recipe! Easy to adjust to suit your personal tastes. Suggestions from others are good ones. Less water, more ginger. Will make again!

Easy Homestyle Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I agree with the other reviews. The green beans tasted like I cooked them for a much longer period of time. I love the ease of this recipe. Will make again and again.

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
I used this recipe to make Key Lime Pie VII also from this website. It was soooo good and easy. Why buy another graham cracker crust? Make this, save money, and enjoy the praise!

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
This is now my "GO-TO" pie crust recipe! I started using it between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I followed the recipe to the letter. I have used it to make dessert pies, quiche, and chicken pot pie! Before now I just bought the frozen pie crusts, but no more. Easy and inexpensive. Try it! If you don't like it you're only out a few cents and a few minutes of your time. But wait until you hear your friends and family say----"is this home made pie crust too??? Ohhhh wow... it's delicious!" Then you'll know what a winner it is.

Bebop Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
Thanks Judy, your review said it best! "It's a simple recipe with down-home good taste." I could not say it better. I have never liked baked beans until now. I served these with my slow- smoked pulled pork and potato salad at a recent family party. Even the seasoned cooks requested the recipe.

Stuffed Strawberries

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
These are VERY easy to make and are so beautiful--in addition to tasty! It does help to firm up the filling in the refrigerator prior to stuffing the strawberries. Also I cut the strawberries X style so you can see more filling, but it's up to you. As you can see by other reviews the possibilities are endless.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
I followed this recipe as it is written and it rewarded me with tenderness on the inside and crispy crunchy goodness on the outside interspersed with fabulous flavor! It cooks up to a beautiful golden brown that had my family looking at their plates and saying "MMMMMM-MMMMM". I am from the deep south and nothing says comfort like GOOD fried chicken. Of course I won't cook this every week as I want to preserve our good health... but if you are looking for some comfort food as a special treat for you and your family, this is definitely the ticket! Add some mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, tossed salad, rolls, and sweet tea. Serve chocolate and lemon meringue pies for dessert (Yesss-- Do both to satisfy everyone!!) Just too much good!!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
My very dubious 16 year old son said this was awesome and much better than those brand name box mixes I've brought home. So flavorful. I left out the red pepper flakes and didn't miss it. Very easy to mix up and have on hand. I plan to use this in other Tex-Mex recipies.

Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
I love this! It is definitely more of a syrup rather than a sauce. I probably won't be buying syrup from the grocery store anymore! This is now a staple in my refrigerator. My family uses it to make chocolate milk and loves the way it dissolves quickly. It does thicken as it cools and using less water does make it thicker. You will have to experiment to find the right consistency for you. Very inexpensive to make.

Cajun Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
This is such a great and easy recipe. My family thinks I'm a rock star! I also have cut back on the oil. I grill out this particular recipe at least twice a month! The chicken is great in chef salads and also makes a killer chicken salad! Very versatile!
