Soul Smothered Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This is a great recipie that I plan on making again because it was so simple and tasty. I omitted celery (hate the veg) and carrots (raw only for me) from the recipie. The other changes were using onion and garlic powder, paprika, and pepper to marinate the chicken and then I coated it with flour. For the raters who stated that the chicken was bland maybe this tip will help. Besides those changes I kept to everything else. Thank you for providing the recipie.

Green Chicken Enchilada

Very easy to make and tasty. Only "modification" was adding a spoonful of sauce in the enchilada. Thanks

Ziti with Italian Sausage

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
This recipie is okay. Would use more sauce and cut the bake time in half since the pasta came out crunchy. Next time I will use bottled spaghetti sauce.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
This lasanga is awesome. As a novice cook, the directions were easy to follow. The only drawback is time but it is worth it. I modified the recipie based on the other reviews. I am glad I listened. I cut back on regular salt and added 1/8 of celery salt, 1 tb spoon of sugar, 1/4 fennel seeds, and doubled the Italian seasoning. My husband was really impressed. Thanks John.
