I made a half recipe like everyone has recommended. I also added a whole green pepper and a whole red pepper. I used colby jack & swiss because that's what I had. I spread a layer of garlic mayo over the top (recipe from another Philly cheese recipe) and french fried onions along with some of the cheese mix. Salt in the french fried onions definitely brings out the flavor! Yum!

Pumpkin Brioche

I made this and it was a disaster! I had fun cutting the entire cup of butter into small minced pieces... Needless to say I didn't "incorporate" the butter, so I had this odd-looking dough that looked like it had butter chips in it, it ended up never baking in the middle- just a puddle of butter. Granted, the edges that did bake were wonderful and I made sure to eat those! The butter that spilled out of the pan while baking made a huge mess in my oven. Ha ha...I will try this again though!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

I whipped this for several minutes so it was nice and fluffy. I don't know if you get the same effect unless you use a KitchenAid or commercial mixer. It was almost just like Cinnabon's frosting, except I think they have a touch of salt and lemon in theirs. YUM!

Blueberry Buckle

I believe the recipe I have at home and use all the time is exactly like this one. The only difference is there is a glaze of powdered sugar that it calls for that I never use. This is so good, I make it many times a year and it turns out every time! (never be in a hurry and use frozen berries...I guarantee it won't turn out!)

Peanut Butter Bars I

This is very similiar to one I've made for years. We don't add peanut butter to the chocolate chips but I bet it would be good, I'm going to have to try it. We also just use an entire bag of chocolate chips. This recipe is made on a cookie sheet, so everything is spread thinner and goes farther :) I like making these because they aren't as salty like the Reese's, and are more sweet. YUM!

Monkey Bread I

Monkey Bread is absolutely amazing. I actually gave the recipe to my brother the other day, thinking it was a family secret of my in-law's! The only thing different in our recipe is 2 Tbsp of Karo syrup in with the brown sugar and butter. Just helps make it stickier! Yum. I use a bundt pan as well, but if I'm taking it somewhere where I won't be getting my pan back, I bake it in a 9x13 pan and then flip it carefully into a disposable aluminum pan. Doesn't matter if if flips nice, still tastes the same!
