Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Great alternative to tuna salad. I didn't smash up all the chickpeas since I really wanted to bite into whole ones and I also added carrots for more of a crunch. Love this!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
Wonderful, cooked while I was reorganizing the house and it was great to have something to eat after you've been working hard. All I had to do before I started my afternoon was toss it all in and STIR the rice into the soup so it will absorb I haven't had a hard piece of rice yet. Add your own herbs and seasonings. I tossed in some garlic and onion powder and made up some more rice just because I love rice. Great lunch! Thanks for sharing!

Baked Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
I really enjoyed this. I did marinate the chicken in the mixture for about an hour and doubled the milk and mustard to coat everything. But, other then that I cooked it as directed. It's a keeper!

Low-Fat Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
So good. I ended blending a lot more than half the soup, added minced garlic, salt and pepper as well as thickening it up a lot more to my own personal preference. Very good.

I love this soup, it gets better every time I make it. I do use cheddar though instead of swiss.

Easy Homemade Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
I was pretty surprised at how well this turned out, I tossed in a few more of my own spices, such as cumin, but really I didn't alter the recipe all that much. I only used half an onion out of personal preference and only used 1/2 a cup of water as well. I'll be making this again...and again.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
Boyfriend picked 4 stars, I'll go with 4.5. Wasn't bad, I'll certainly make it again and I agree with doubling the sauce, you really need to.

Japanese-Style Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I hope I just managed to mess up green beans, but I did not find this good at all nor did my boyfriend. We're just deleting it out of the recipe box and not going for round two.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
Just got done eating this. Great, I rubbed the spices on before hand, dumped in some chicken broth and chopped up some garlic to saute with the chicken. More or less just read the reviews and combined their suggestions and we found it really good. I made gravy and thought it was a bit salty but oh well.

Paprika Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
I mixed the spices with olive oil and rubbed it on the chicken, which seemed to work a little better, also added more paprika.

Depression Era Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
I combined a lot of suggestions others people have made on the chowder and I suggest others do the same and not follow it exactly. Much better with added ingredients and unless you enjoy yours thinner you will want to thicken it up.
