Asian Shrimp Rice Bowl

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
We loved this. The flavors are bold, spicy and sweet. My husband said this was the best asian dinner I have ever made...and believe me, I have made many asian recipes off of this site. Finally, the flavors we were looking for.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I will never bake a turkey in the oven again. This was the most flavorful, moist turkey we have ever had. I didn't even have to cut slices off, the whole breast meat portion just pulled off of the bone at once. Mmmmm.

This recipe is excellent. I will be making this from now on. Healthy too. I followed the recipe exactly except I did not have poppy seeds on hand.

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Perfect recipe. My husband was brought back to his childhood with this recipe. And I expected it to be messy and falling apart, but not at all. It was very easy. I think I may add a little bit of green pepper next time, because that's how my mom used to make them. Thanks!

Indian Shrimp Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
Holy Cow!!! This was amazing! I am so happy to have found this recipe because it really is authentic tasting. I will probably increase the spice by 1/2 next time, because I want even more of that indian flavor. Thank you so much.

Mexican Potato Mash

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
I forgot to mention that I used russet potatoes. If you use smaller potatoes like gold, white or red, increase the number of potatoes used. Also, the green chilies are the diced ones in a can.

Crispy Cucumbers and Tomatoes in Dill Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
LOVED IT! I have made a similar recipe before with just the cucumbers and with white onions. But I love that this one has tomatoes and red onion. It was a nice twist and more healthy and delicious!

Asian Beef Skewers

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
Hello!!! This was wonderful. I followed the recipe exactly. I was hesitant to use flank steak at first because I thought it would be tough, but it melted in our mouths! I think the fact that I marinated it overnight made it more tender. When I make this in the future I may add a little honey to the marinade. I like a little sweetness to my asian food. Either way, this recipe is something I will make again and again. My husband loved it too.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly. I was skeptical about the steak sauce, but after tasting it, now I get it. It was perfectly delicious! And it did cause the chicken breasts to be nice and tender and moist. I do recommend making double the sauce though. The raw chicken really holds on to it when you initially dip it. Then you need more for the basting, and then you need more for dipping the finished chicken into. At least, that's the way my family wanted it!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

The last reviewer must have done something wrong because this was great! The only changes I made was I used real onion (minced) and added one teaspoon of white vinegar. I thought it was great and so did my family.

Fancy Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
Deeelicious! So simple yet so good. I loved that you used real whole potatoes, instead of frozen like all of the other potato casseroles. A bag of potatoes is far less expensive than frozen and healthier. The only alterations I did was instead or garlic salt, I added a packet of dry onion soup mix. I also did not totally mash it because I knew my husband would like it chunky with the skins still on. My husband was in heaven.

Lemon Graham Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
I can't imagine why anyone would not give this 5 stars. This was apsolutely delicious, and one of the easiest desserts I ever made. I had company over and needed something quick and easy. Plus I needed it to have ingredients that I would always have on hand. This fit the bill! I did not put crumbles on top. Maybe that is why I did not have a problem with all of the crust. Next time, I may just drizzle the top with raspberry sauce. Mmmm.

Tomato Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
This soup is excellent. My husband said it was the best soup I ever made and I've made many excellent soups. The only change I made is I don't use margarine so I added real butter. Follow the recipe exactly and you will LOVE it.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2005
This was an excellent casserole that my family loved. I added chopped carrots and fresh sliced mushrooms in addition to the broccoli. I also poured some of the chicken broth (left over from boiling the chicken) on top of the stuffing after it was spread on top. This prevented dryness. Finally, I did not have hardly any cheddar cheese so I laid slices of Muenster (believe it or not) over the whole dish. It was absolutely delicious!!
