Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2013
I rated this recipe a 4 because it was overall a good recipe and very easy to make! I added quite a bit to spice it up. In the pan with the butter and other ingredients, I added fresh basil, I cut up some red, orange, and yellow bellpeppers, mushrooms, onion powder, oregeno, cumin, chili powder, more garlic, and 1/2 cup of white wine. I used thawed large shrimp... and 8-10 minutes was a great time to cook this recipe. If you cook it over that... the shrimp will be too tough. This was so yummy with these changes! It definitely needs some spicing up though. Thanks for the recipe. Enjoy!

Salsa Chicken

This recipe is soo easy and soo good!!!! I have made this recipe many times, and it's one of my husband's faves. I have used taco seasoning I from this site, which makes this recipe very tasty. I also have used the store bought taco seasoning as well, and it's good to. This recipe needs no changes.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2013
I gave this recipe a four because I added some changes. The changes I made definitely made it a ten. First, I cooked some shrimp with cayenne, garlic, green onions, onion powder, and garlic powder. Then I continuously whisked the butter and cream together for about 5 minutes, then I added the 1 pound of shrimp and immitation crab meat, a little bit more whipping cream and parmesan cheese, and 1 can of mushrooms, garlic, parsley, and added some ground pepper and tonys seasoning... it ended up being soo yummy! My husband and I gobbled it up!!!! He loved it!!!!

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
This recipe was not that good! I have definitely had better pumpkin cheescake! This recipe cost a lot to make, so I was truly disappointed when it didn't even taste good! Atleast I can say I tried it, you have to take the good with the bad I guess!

I made this for dinner tonight, and my fiance and I gobbled it right up... we still have left overs of course! I cannot imagine anyone rating this recipe anything less than a 5, it is absolutely the best lasagna ever!!! Well this is my first attempt at making lasagna, but I have tried many different varieties of lasagna! This is the best yet! This one is definitely a keeper!!! Thank you for the recipe!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
This recipe was delightful. It was really delicious. The gravy was the best part! I would suggest if you are making this meal for more than two people...make more gravy! If their are only two of you, you should have enough gravy. My fiance and I were the only two eating this meal... and we both thought it was absolutely delish! We also tried Ultimante Twiced Baked Potatoes from this site... and everyone should try those as well!!! They were soooo yummy!!!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
These were absolutely fantastic! My fiance and I ate them for dinner last night. We also cooked hamburger steak with onions and gravy also from this site, and they both turned out wonderfully! The only change I made was I mixed the bacon and chives with the potatoes, and I baked all at once. (This is the 15 minute baking time). One more quick note, the time was off a bit. I had to bake the potatoes for an hour and 20 minutes, and then I still had to put the potatoes in the mocrowave for two additional minutes. That would be the only complaint I would have, although, everyone should try these atleast once! I will surely be making these again... thank you so much for the recipe!!!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2006
Oh my Goodness!!! This recipe is soooo tasty! MMM MMM GOOD!!! I made a few changes though. I used fresh green beans, and for the mixture, I only used 1/2 cup of butter and brown sugar. Even with the minor changes... they turned out wonderful! Made them with barbecue chicken... great recipe! Thanks a billion Mark :o)!!!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2006
I made this recipe for dinner tonight, and my fiance and I absolutely loved it!!! The chicken came out wonderful, and it was tremendously moist. First, I put a little touch of my own seasoning. I put Italian seasoning on both sides of the chicken before I dredged it in the mixture, and I used Italian bread crumbs. Everything else was great... parmesan gave it a wonderful flavor. I put the roasted garlic on top of the chicken while it was baking for 30 minutes. So easy to make... yet so delicious! Can't beat this one... thanks for the recipe!

Southern Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
This recipe diserves a five because it was very very tasty, and it was easy to make (much easier than boiled cabbage, but alot more fattening... lol)! Anyways, I made this with "New Years Day Black Eye Peas" and "grandma's buttermilk cornbread"... this meal turned out to be a ten!!! Everyone raved. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This recipe is soooo good! This is the first time I have ever made cornbread, and it turned out absolutely wonderful! This is by far the best cornbread I have ever tasted. This cornbread is sooo moist, it just melts in your mouth. I took it out of the oven at thirty minutes. If I could rate this cornbread a ten I would. Thanks sooo much for the recipe!!! :o)

New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
I rate this recipe a 4 because I had to add a lot of ingredients to it to make it my own. We (my fiance and I), made a double batch, and we added 2 bell peppers, celery, basil, parsley, 4 bayleaves, and lots of Tony Satcherins seasoning. It turned out absolutely amazing!!!! I will be making this recipe every new years now. We made "Grandma's Buttermilk Cornbread" and "Famous Fried Cabbage", also from this site... and might I say... the whole meal was rated a ten!!! Everyone raved!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
Well, I just finished trying this recipe, and my fiance and I are rating this recipe a 4 because it is rather bland and dry. It is very easy to make so it gets a 5 for that. The gravy is wonderful(make sure you use the whole package of gravy mix)... it gave the veggies a very nice taste. For the veggies we used new potatoes, carrots, one white onion, celery, and mushrooms... and man, did they turn out "great"! The mushrooms, celery, and carrots really had an amazing flavor. Also, we stuffed the roast with the garlic. This recipe is a keeper, but a bit bland and very dry. Next time, I will take it out of the oven sooner. Cooking time is off a bit, and that is the only reason I rated it a four... otherwise, it is a wonderful recipe. Thanks for this one!

Egg Salad Sandwiches

This recipe was pretty good. I rated it a four because I didn't really care for the dillweed. I believe it was a little much. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either.

This recipe was exceptionally tasty. I added carrots, celery, and bell pepper... and it turned out wonderful. Also, I only used two cans of black beans(that's all I had on hand)... and it was still great! Thanks for the recipe!

WOW!!! SOOOOOO YUMMY!!! This recipe turned out just wonderful. I used regular potatoes, and I cut them before boiling them, but the spices in this recipe went together perfectly. I would not change a thing.... great recipe!!! Thank you sooo much, this one is a keeper. Although, my potatoes did turn out a little soft, they were still delicious! mmmm mmmm good!!!
