Janine's Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Best ever banana bread. Soooooo good. I followed adjustments and added 1 tsp. lemon juice, extra 1/4 cup flour, and 1 tsp. baking power to recipe. I also used 1 full cup of mashed bananas as directed.

Stuffed Cabbage Authentic Polish Style

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
Excellent. I was hesitant on the red pepper flakes but no longer. Everything blended well for a great recipe. I have been making my own for a long time, but will definitely switch to this recipe. Thank You!

Best City Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
My family requests this on all special occasions! I switched to just pork as the only meat many years ago. The only thing I do differently is I add and mix a couple chicken bouillion cubes to the water before putting in the oven. Delicious flaver. Usually takes my meat about an hour to get tender.

Cube Steak Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
If you and your family enjoys cube steak this is delicious. I loved it and gave it 5 stars. Unfortunately my husband and daughter do not like cube steak. It was a waste of time fixing it for them. Of course, there was more for me!

Great Grandma's Bread Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
I thought this recipe was very good. I made it today to practice before Thanksgiving! A little too salty, and I will omit all the paprika next time. I don't like the coloring. I baked as is without any extra liquid for about 45 minutes. The oil from the onions was all it needed. Will definitely make for my Thanksgiving dinner.

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2007
Delicious. I only had bread crumbs and can't wait to use more flavorful bread stuffing mix next time. The crumbs made the chops very tender in a short time. I loved this recipe and will use it from now on. Thank you so much!

Excellent. The spaghetti is a must with this recipe. I am going to use scallops next time, just to change, in this delicious sauce. A definite keeper in our house. Nothing was left! Thank you so much.

Delicious. I did add milk (fat free a little over 1/2 cup) and 1 tsp of vanilla as others suggested. This bread was gone in one evening! Excellent. Thank you very much.

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2006
Wonderful and I will never buy store-bought again! (Keep in mind that this recipe calls for confectioner's sugar and if you have ever made icing for cookies, you know you have to keep adding milk until you get the consistency you want. If this frosting is too thick, just slowly add a little more milk. If it is too loose, slowly add a little more sugar! You can't go wrong. Thank you very much.

Abby's Chicken Rollatini

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
Absolutely wonderful! Great for a dinner party and is so easy. I did not have the prosciutto, so I used canned mushrooms instead, since my husband and I both love mushrooms and it was all I had on hand. It was fabulous. I can't wait to use the prosciutto next time. Definitely a great recipe.

Fixed this chicken today and it was GREAT!! So easy and so tasty. I did not pound my chicken too thin as I like them a little plump and they turned out fabulous. Just baked 5 minutes longer. Thank you so much.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
WOW. I was on vacation visiting my son's family, and needed a recipe. I chose this because it had 5 stars. Everyone said it was the best meal I had cooked during my whole stay! My husband even liked it better than my own recipe!! I did omit the ginger because I do not like it personally, but otherwise followed the recipe. Thank you so much.

Hot Spiced Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
WOW!!! I used my coffee maker, and had to make this twice in one night! The four of us just kept drinking it and drinking it. It was so good. Everything blended so well, I never tasted any one ingredient as overpowering, it was a perfect blend. The only thing was that I washed my entire coffee maker out before and after making this drink. It was worth it! I liked that it was fast and ready, just like a cup of coffee. Encellent!!!!! Thank you so much for this recipe.
