Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
Some people said to double the sauce, but that made it seem like i didn't have enough meat to go with all the sauce. I did 2x meat and 3x sauce (soup+water) and I need to add more meat to be able to use up the rest of the sauce. I also did what some suggested and used both sour cream and cream cheese and it was tasty.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
Awesome. I added a package of dried onion soup mix and a package of sliced mushrooms and it came out perfectly. I will definitely be making this again. Kids and adults all loved this.

Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
These are awesome. My family asks me to make them ALL the time. I've gotten to where I don't measure anymore...as long as all of the ingredients are in there somewhere, it works.

American Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
I absolutely agree with many other comments. This is a good base recipe and then add other ingredients to your liking. I added Worcestershire to the meat along with a few other spices (pepper, garlic powder). I put some thawed frozen peas and carrots on the meat before adding the potatoes. I used the steam and mash potatoes from the freezer section (Ore Ida brand) and they worked great. Really easy for a weekday night. I'm a huge mashed potato snob and I thought those were just fine. Just add some butter and milk and they fluff up just fine. I'll be making this one again.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
My family loves this. I usually use 1-2 lbs ground beef plus another pound of ground sausage. Instead of onion soup mix, I substitute diced onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and cumin. I top off with cheddar cheese for the final 10-15 minutes. Plus, always served with mashed potatoes. Yum!
