About this Cook
My cooking triumphs
My biggest triumph was catering a trade show for 1000 people. It was very stressful but I pulled it off (obviously with help) It was a very proud day.
My cooking tragedies
I had 8 people over for dinner years ago and was baking a lasagna in a blue glass dish, I wont mention the companies name- but chance are you have some in your cupboard, anyways the thing shattered into a million little pieces in my oven. I had the biggest mess to deal with and needless to say we had salad and garlic bread for dinner. I wasnt a happy girl. I was also the early morning baker at a cafe and many sleepy mornings over the years I would forget to put the leavening agent into my muffins and scones. Since your on a time crunch, it would throw my whole schedule off having to start over. UGH!

Warm Apple Buttermilk Custard Pie
This was very good. I didn't do the crumble topping however, still delicious though. Instead we drizzled with a little caramel.

Dukkah
Did not find this addictive at all, nobody did, and we love different, interesting food. It was the only thing that didnt get eaten up at a party full of tipsy hungry people. Sorry.

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls
These are so good, however I did add some more butter to the mix as it seemed a little dry. Im so glad I have a way to make cinnamon buns now since I hate messing with yeast. Im far to impatient.
