Spicy Melted Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2003
I fried the ground beef and sausage and then drained off the fat in a metal colander...a must. Then I mixed everything in a crockpot until the cheese melted. For the tomatoes, I used a can of Mexican Rotel tomatoes. Served with tortilla chips, this is a great party dip.

I took the advice of others and added an onion, a can of mushrooms, 1 tsp. of garlic pepper instead of the pepper and increased the worcester to a teaspoon. Served it over mashed potatoes. It was fast, easy and good.

Grilled Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
Wow! This was great! I took other's advice and added a chopped onion. My family loves mushrooms so I added a can of mushrooms and rather than grill the chicken I broiled it because it was a little cold outside. Served the remaining broth once simmered over white rice; added a side salad and dinner was served! Easy!

This was great! My family doesn't like corn tortillas so I used flour. They were a little soft, you just need to be careful removing from the baking dish. This is a definite keeper!

Italian Sausage and Zucchini

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2013
I followed the recipe pretty close but made a few modifications. I took the casing off of the Italian sausage links and cooked and crumbled the mixture in the pan then added the zucchini and onion to cook a little bit. I added garlic, salt, and pepper (to taste) to the sausage, onion and zucchini mixture and put the lid on the pan to cook for about 10 minutes. Once I took the lid off I added a can of Rotel tomatoes with green chiles and some red pepper flakes. I simmered until most of the liquid was gone then I sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese. OMG...this was yummy!

Pepperoncini Beef

This was pretty good. The recipe didn't state whether to remove the stems on the pepperoncinis or not...I chose to remove the stems. I also added sliced onions, green peppers, and fresh mushrooms.
