well, I live in England and I am a very young and inexperienced cook but I am improving and learning steadily. My aim is to reach the 'allrecipes cook book' and/or reach the 'hall of fame.' Deserts. I love making deserts. From pies to cookies, to brownies and more. I also like cooking side meals like apple-sauce or even main courses. Well, my family don't really have a cooking tradition although we always burn spice cookies when we make them. In fact, I just burnt a batch today and i only got them out one minute later than i was supposed to. My best cooking experience was the first time i made a meal that my family ate as dinner. I felt so proud! I once attempted to cook sausages in a plate(when i was very young) and the plate cracked and the sausages became rock solid.
