Beef Stew V

My entire family loved this stew! I used beef broth instead of boullion cubes/water and reduced the liquid to 2 cups to make it less soupy. Very, very yummy!

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

Just ok. I was disappointed since I saw all the great reviews. The balsamic vinegar really overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Next time I make this I'm only adding a teaspoon or two instead of a 1/4 cup.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Outstanding! Everyone in my family LOVED it. I used a larger roast (5 lbs) because the smaller roasts tend to get overcooked and dry. Added potatoes around the meat the last hour which was a huge hit. I thought the cayenne pepper was a little overpowering so next time I'm cutting the amount in half. Can't wait to have this again!

Chicken Noodle Casserole II

Very tasty and easy! Instead of bland canned chicken I used a pre-roasted and seasoned chicken from the grocery store. Needed to bake an extra 15 minutes so the noodles were completely cooked. Make sure you cover all the noodles with the sauce otherwise they'll be crunchy.

Apple Cranberry Tart

So surprisingly yummy! I used Granny Smith apples and it turned out perfect. I also used a regular pie pan and it worked out fine. Serving this a la mode is a must!

North Carolina-Style Pulled Pork

I had really high hopes for this recipe just by all the outstanding reviews but they just turned out ok. The cookies spread out and are very thin even after refrigerating the dough for several hours.

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Great recipe but it really needed salt. I also added a couple of shakes of cayenne pepper to the sauce to give it a kick. Added chicken broth instead of water and boullion cube. Mixed in some steamed broccoli with the pasta and chicken and that made it perfect!

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Good quick recipe. My kids liked it even with mushrooms. I added a 1/4 cup of dry sherry with the broth to give it a boost of flavor. Sauce was a little too thick for my taste so I added about a 1/2 cup extra broth.
