Haven't made the bread yet, but others found fault with directions. I can't find any. Possibly second mention of sugar(1/2 cup) refers to brown sugar to mix with cinnamon. Hope this clears up the controversy. Will rate later, but am prerating at 5 *

Chicken Fried Chicken

We used several chicken pieces. Dry ingredients made of supplies on hand (Panko-ritz wheat crackers and Pepperidge Farms Stuffing mix. We added Creole seasoning (1 tsp)and garlic powder. To egg wash we added 1 tsp dry ranch dressing mix. Cooked in skillet as directed for about 10 minutes then 45 minutes in oven at 310 degrees. The end result was fabulous! Especially as this was first try for fried chicken in our house. Very crispy. All gone

Chicken Pot Pie I

Very good flavor.Used 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can cream of celery soup. In the end seems we could have had a wee bit more moisture. Found 2 chicken breasts adequate. Don't think we could have stuffed 4 breasts into the pie pan. Used Mrs. Smith deep dish crusts.

Honey Wheat Bread II

Would rate 6* if possible. Makes wonderful toast. Followed advice of others and increased honey to 1/2 cup. Did note dough quite sticky after kneading, but no real problem.

Baked Apricot Chicken

Tasty recipe. Used russian dressing as recommended by several raters. We do not normally keep french, russian dressings or apricot preserves on hand. Think results do not justify extra expense in our case. Nontheless, a different taste that most would like.

Quick Yeast Rolls

Finally a yeast roll recipe that really tastes like it should. Did add 2 TBS honey. Not to die for but certainly at least get mortally wounded.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Made recipe for 2. Very versitle recipe. My variation: Wilted fresh spinach & put in casserole. Sauteed mushrooms in butter and oil, then covered spinach. Recipe calls for 2 oz mushrooms. I used 1 full cup sliced and it was barely enough to cover spinach. Cut chicken breasts into thirds and browned in flour and butter in skillet. Did not use bacon. Rest was as directed. Still made a great tasting dish!!!

Aussie Chicken

Great dish! Does well with chopped onions sauted with mushrooms instead of onion flakes. Use at least 1 cup mushrooms when making for 2 servings. Only seasoning available was Creole Seasoning. Went well. Again excellent dish!

A Number One Egg Bread

Imade this recipe for one loaf again this week I added 2 TBS extra sugar with slight improvement in taste. Used 2 1/2 cups flour instead of 2 1/4 as recommended. Found consistency of bread much better. This time bread rose to nearly 4". If you cook for 40 minuetes as directed you will probably end up with charcoal at 375 degrees. Found 25 -26 minutes adequate for one loaf.Note: there are inconsistencies in recommended amounts of eggs and flour in recipe. This should be corrected. Bread very good.
