KGEMINIGRL's SPAM® Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
I followed this recipe to the T and I have to say it was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten in my life. I guess everyone to his own tastes and this is NOT mine.

Creamy Lettuce Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Yummy! I took this salad to a family get-together this past weekend. I made a huge roasting pan full of it and it was gone within an hour. Everyone loved it and was grateful for the healthier option. The vinegar isn't overpowering and gives it just the right amount of "wang". I'm dieting (again...) so this will become a meal staple for me. I'm going to try light mayo, truvia and 1% milk for the dressing to help reduce calories and fat. Thanks Beverly for the recipe!

Key Lime Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
This is one of the best cakes I have ever made or eaten!! Thank you Judy for the recipe! I didn't have Key Lime juice nor did my grocer carry it (???) so I just used regular lime juice and it was awesome! I made it for the 1st time this past weekend for a family get-together. It was gone which meant I had nothing to take home to eat as a snack :( but everyone raved about it. I replaced all of the oil with applesauce and it was excellent - moist, rich - just like cake should be. Thankfully, I have all of the ingredients in my cupboard and plan to make another one for my family (and me) tonight!

Ramen Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
I stumbled across this recipe a year ago and have made it several times since. It's fabulous!! I've added chopped chicken breast and used it as a meal during the summer. It's so versatile. Making it again today to take to a church cook out. I can't wait to eat!! :)

Banana Pudding III

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
I haven't made this yet but by the looks of all the other reviews it will be made this weekend! :) One thing I noticed is that some are c/o a strong lemon taste. Try to soak your bananas (love typing that word) in sprite or some other lemon-lime soda. You don't get the lemony taste and it works just as well. Can't wait to try this!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Yummy!!! My 11 yo son helped me make them. He had a blast wrapping them (which works for me:) Take the advice of the others and put foil in the pan!! I didn't and yikes, clean up was next to impossible! I'm making these again for our Packer/Bears party this weekend and plan on trying the dipping sauce found on this site with them (not that they need any sauce mind you).

Baklava

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
I have always been hesitant to make baklava because I thought it would be difficult, time consuming and messy. This recipe is super and so easy!! I took the advice of a reader and cooled my sauce before i poured it over the warm baklava - awesome with just the right amount of crispness. My husband cannot get enough of this and even commented that it's better than he's had in authentic greek restaurants!

Jay's Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
I haven't tried this yet but am planning on it tonight. I rated 5 stars cuz the ingredients look wonderful. It smelled awesome when I threw it together as well. I have 2 cornish game hens marinating in it right now and plan on cooking them in my rotissere rather than on my grill. I'll update everyone when I find out how they work cooked that way. Wish me luck!

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
This is awesome - you gotta try it!! So easy to make and so worth it! I sauteed the onions in butter and browned my spare ribs before I placed them in the slow cooker. I also changed this recipe to make 10 servings (i have boys) and had so much sauce left over. I put the excess sauce in the freezer so I can use it the next time I make these ribs. I'll cut the sauce recipe in 1/2 when I make it again. Other than that I would'nt change a thing!! thanks for this awesome, easy & delicious recipe!
