Grilled Shrimp Scampi

I make this for every bbq at my house and it's always a big hit! I make it in 4lb batches (Costco 4lb bag) and make it w/1 C lemon and a whole head of parsley. It can be made a day ahead less the lemon. Add the lemon 1/2 hr before cooking as instructed. Great recipe! Thanks Holly!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Never judge a book by its cover. I first made this recipe on Christmas Eve 2011. I must admit, when I first saw the recipe I thought the ingredients were weird. Cream cheese, cayenne pepper? Nevertheless, I saw the overwhelming good reviews so followed the recipe exactly (well, almost – I swapped hot Hungarian paprika for cayenne). This mushroom recipe is excellent! I will make it traditionally every Christmas Eve. Thank you Angie!

Baked Buffalo Wings

Great recipe. I'm an advocate of following a recipes instructions, however this time I didn't. I cooked the wings at 500-degrees for 30 minutes without flipping them. The wings basically fried themselves at the high temperature and came out slightly crisp. They were perfect. I also doubled the cayenne and the wings had just enough heat.

This recipe is great as-is. No modifications are necessary. This shouldn't be served as main course meal. For the past 5 years we served this, double-size, every year for Christmas Eve. Serve with crackers, or your other favorite bread snack. My only alteration is I add 50% more crab meat. It makes for a more dense crab, if you like it more like hearty stew.

Oyster Stew

Simple and excellent recipe! Sometimes, the simpler, the better! This is the case here. I made it for the first time on Xmas eve. Everyone raved about it, including myself. I will continue to make this recipe for any seafood event. It’s better than any oyster stew I’ve had in any restaurant. Thank you.
