About this Cook
I've recently moved back down to the Southwest from the Pacific Northwest. I am so happy to have the sun again! I can't wait to start using the local ingredients to make some new and exciting meals!
My favorite things to cook
Strangely enough, cooking SOS ( on a shingle) seems to be one of my favorite things to cook! It's easy, but it takes some skill and when you've done it, it feels like you made something from scratch and everyone loves it! I make it with ground beef sometimes and with ground turkey sometimes for a lighter version.

Easy North Carolina Barbeque
Wow! I followed the recipe - although I had a boneless pork loin - and I can't believe how perfect it is! I thought it might be too hot with the hot sauce and red pepper flakes - but it turned out just right and is getting better by the day! I will definitely be making this on a regular basis!

Easy Cranberry Chicken
Truly fabulous tasting and super easy to make! I also think that cranberry sauce with whole cranberries in it would be great in this too - but it's really good just how it is!
