Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were really good! I didn't have the chocolate chips, so I went ahead without them. They were a hit!! ( I did cut down on the sugar a bit, and they were just perfect.)

Fresh Ginger Cookies

These were delicious! I was craving ginger cookies, and after reading the reviews I decided to try them. Followed the recipe exactly and the whole family loved these. I will definitely make these again!!

Vegetable Lo Mein

Great recipe! As suggested I omitted the honey (the hoisen is sweet enough) and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. I added lots of other veggies and chicken. I will make this again.

Asian Salmon

Yummy!! The whole family loved it. Probably because it didn't have that fishy taste. I didn't have any wine vinegar so I used balsamic vinegar.

Basic Crepes

Dill Vinaigrette

This is a good dressing. I used olive oil in lieu of the veg. oil, I also used balsamic vinegar in place of the red wine vinegar. I also reduced the sugar to 1 tsp. I will make this again.

Couscous with Mushrooms and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

I was looking for a new way to do couscous and the whole family really liked this recipe. The only thing I did differently was changed the mushrooms to button mushrooms.

Best Ever Split Pea

This was decent. I was unsure as to what "salt free seasoning blend" meant, as it was very unspecific. I added parsley, salt and pepper. Don't think I'll try it again though.

Real German Baked Apples

It was difficult to stuff the apples after only having cored them, so I used my apple slicer/corer which simplified things. I was sure not to press it completely through so as not to have individual slices of apples, but rather a 'flower'. I stuffed them and them and pressed them shut. I kept them in a little longer just to make sure the egg was cooked (I have a thing with raw eggs). The mixture was not very tasty. Could've used a full tbsp of sugar (at least), and I'm not even a fan of sweet things!

Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

Creamed Spinach

This was met with mixed reviews. My husband and I couldn't even swallow our first spoonful (yuck!), but our 2 yearold couldn't get enough. He finished his, then cleaned off our plate as well. I'll make this again......for him.
