Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
Pros: Easy, quick - was ready in about 30 minutes, start to finish. Cons - I found the flavor to be bland. Next time, I would definitely add olives and would probably add seasoned canned tomatoes rather than fresh.

Fresh Tomato Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2012
I was afraid this might be bland because it's such a simple recipe, but it turned out to be fantastic and flavorful. My 5 year-old didn't like it, but my husband and I did. I would definitely make it again.

Ron's Stewed Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2012
Delicious! I was looking for a light main dish to go with a tomato pie I made and this was perfect. Followed the recipe except for a sprinkle of Old Bay on the shrimp right before eating them.

Throw Together Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
We really liked this. It was easy and yummy! If there's something you don't like, it's very easy to make adjustments. The only thing I changed was that I added about a cup of reduced-fat shredded cheddar on top. I will make this again and have already recommended it to friends!

Sweet Sausage Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
Good basic recipe, but two important notes. First, the recipe calls for way too much pasta. I would use 8-12 oz. I used a 14.25 oz package of farfalle and had far more pasta than anything else. We just like our pasta saucy! My second note would be that this recipe does not feed 6 people. I made this planning on leftovers, and there basically weren't any (except un-sauced pasta!) For what there was, though, it was good!

Peppered Bacon and Tomato Linguine

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
This was so good! I loved the combo of the bacon and tomatoes with the pasta - it's a nice change from plain old spaghetti. The whole family liked it!

Spinach and Potato Frittata

I doubled the recipe and used Potatoes O'Brien as suggested by a reviewer. It was great - everyone loved it and had seconds!

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Exceeded my expectations. I used Italian diced tomatoes, half a packet of onion soup mix, light sour cream, and reduced-fat cheddar. Otherwise, followed the directions exactly. My husband and my 3 year-old enjoyed it, too!

Chocolate Drops

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
These were pretty good, recipe was really easy. I followed the recipe exactly, but would like to try it with some changes (different-flavored chips or different add-ins.) Mine didn't set up until I put them in the refrigerator and at room temperature were pretty gooey and melty.

Chinese Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
Good recipe. I didn't have peanut oil, so I used sesame oil. Also, used ramen noodles. I think you could use less dressing than this recipe calls for. When we ate it as leftovers, it was pretty weighed down with the dressing, but still had good flavor.

Thanksgiving Flavored Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
I didn't think these were especially Thanksgiving-flavored, but they were still delicious. I would never have thought to put whipped cream cheese on a burger, but it was really good, especially with the cranberry sauce. We will make these again.

Easy and delicious. A great alternative to lasagna.

Cinnamon Crunch Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This was a hit at the football party I took it to last Sunday! Several people asked for the recipe. It has a great buttery taste and is super-easy. The only slight complaint I had was that it does taste just a little bit burned. I think this happened when I was stirring the syrup, probably would have been easier on a gas stove. Still, a great recipe overall. I think I'll make it again at Christmas and give it away as gifts.

Blueberry Dump Cake

I used about 2 Tbsp. extra butter and baked it for about 45 minutes. It turned out great! I would definitely recommend it.

Molasses Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
This recipe was very disappointing. My first batch spread out and burned even though I followed the directions exactly. My second batch was better, but they never cracked on the top like a Molasses Cookie is supposed to. I won't make this recipe again.

Orange Drop Cookies II

First batch turned out OK. Second batch spread on the cookie sheet and weren't edible. Could be due to the cookie sheet I used, but even the first batch was only OK.

I've made this recipe twice; both times it got rave reviews. People who don't normally like sweet potatoes loved this recipe!
