Quick Yeast Rolls

Really great recipe. The dough was very sticky but I trusted the previous reviewers and didn't add more flour. Will definitely make these again, but I might try substituting butter for the shortening.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

I was so happy I tried this recipe. I love that I wasn't using the canned stuff and I could also variate the recipe to my personal taste. The only thing I didn't like was that I used a lot of ketchup, which is almost like gold in our house. Will definitely make again.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

As I'm sure the original recipe is superb, I did a variation. My husband likes dark chocolate so I substituted Dark Cocoa. I upped the sugar to 2 cups and used Almond Extract along with the vanilla. I think next time I might try a mint extract or throw in some chocolate chips. They are a very soft and easy cookie and can easily be made in a variety of ways.

Creamy Avocado-Ranch Dip

I upped to 3 avocados and added minced garlic and a lot more hot sauce [and I don't even like spicy stuff but it made the flavor burst]. I will definitely make this again, and maybe even add to some burritos:)

Lemon Pie Bars

I doubled the filling, and it was super delicious!! I was nervous about the crust, because I've never made one, but it came out just fine. I didn't have a pastry cutter, so I had to combine the ingredients by pinching them together. I also forgot to add the flour to the filling. I used the lemon juice from a plastic lemon and didn't add zest, but everything worked out perfect. The thing that I love about this recipe is that i have all of the ingredients [minus lemon juice] right in my pantry!

Mango-licious Tilapia

Very delicious and satisfying. I pan seared my Tilapia and served it with the mango salsa on top. I also added extra avocado per my taste.

Creamy Frosting

I really wish this frosting would have turned out as the other reviewer's finished product. I followed the directions exactly and the hints from other reviews, but my frosting came out gritty and butter tasting. I had to throw it all out and go to the store to buy frosting to frost my daughter's school cupcakes.

Pecan Pie V

This was my first time making Pecan Pie. With how easy and delicious it was, I will be making this pie more often. I love the crustiness of it instead of the goo. The only thing I did different was added another bag of pecans [whole].

Rosemary Garlic Rub

This was my first time using a rub, I added a 1/2 tblsp of Allspice and 1/2 a medium white onion [chopped]. Used it on a whole chicken, and roasted it. PERFECT!!!
