April's Chicken Fried Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
I am giving this 5 stars not because it was perfect, but because it gave me a simple recipe to start with. Others just overwhelm me and I end up not even trying them. This gave me the basics to start with and now I can experiment with all sorts of things!

Plantation Ham Cakes

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I did not have many of the ingredients, but this got me going with the ham. While I loved the way mine turned out (5 stars), the kids did not. My version: Ham, fresh zuchini, fresh celery, a little swiss cut up and parmesan. I did not have onion or anise. But this seems to be a very versital recipe once you have the basics. So for me Great!

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
It's AWESOME! 1st - We used butter instead of margarin and 2 tbls extra PB 2nd - It was gooey, so we naturally made them into popcornballs 3rd - half we baked like the other recommendations Final conclusion: Gooey is great for balls, but cooked is better for either.

White-Hot Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Good. Reminded me of hot egg nog though, in a good way. I am used to starbucks white hot chocolate, and they do not use egg, so it was different than expected, but still yummy. I think I will try it w/o the egg next time.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Super yumm! I've made this several times for parties and it's gone. My only suggestion is add only half or less of the preserves.

It was not the best hollandaise i've ever tasted but because it was so easy I gave it 4 stars.

Sunshine Toast

Reviewed: May 3, 2008
It's ok, but not great. I don't know what is so great. Just the idea? Cheese helped. I'd rather just make toast and eggs.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
It is great, but use your good judgment on taste. I didn't put all the lime juice in and I also put only 1/4 cup onion in it. Was a little salty and still onion potent so I added 1 more avocado and WOW now it's perfect.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Absolutely fabulous! The key is to follow directions exactly to the measurements. (I condensed mine down to 10 servings) But I used half itilian white wine vinegar and half red wine vinegar because for some reason I don't like the flavor as well with all red wine. I did add just a little sugar and WOW! As good as the greek restaurants! Don't forget your feta cheese, it completes the salad. YUM!

I love this cookie! It looks and feels just like play dough! We made faces, flowers, bows, swirls and the kids loved it. The taste is good, but the looks was sooo impressive!

Creamy Rice Pudding

I put a little cinnamon and nutmeg in it and it tastes good. I have had better oven rice puddings though. Fairly simple to make and still really good.

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
This was an easy crust to make. If it didn't work for others it may have been the way they measured out the ingredients. I measured exact and it was wonderful!
