Hmmm this was ok, i'm eating it as I type. Although i LOVE the idea of using cream cheese, its just kinda bland.

Sicilian Ricotta Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
I guess i just dont like the taste the ricotta has, i wish it was made out of cream cheese instead. I'll stick w/ cream cheese from now on.

Skiers' French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
The carmel was good but it used so many eggs that it was like a mushy custard or something, it was like wet bread.

Pumpkin Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
I really like this, the pumpkin part of the bread sort of taste like pumpkin ginger bread even though there is no ginger in it. I like the cream cheese center but i think if i make it again i'll just do pumpkin and no cream cheese. I love making breads that dont use yeast, this is a keeper.

Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
2 cans of soup was not enough to cover everything, i didn't have another can of soup so i added beef broth. Meat is moist, but it has no flavor, i'm very disappointed, i wont be making this again.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2006
I triped the recipe cause i wanted to make sure it had enough sauce, but i only doubled the butter. I had to cook them 20 minutes longer cause they weren't done inside. My husband says he LOVES them, so this is a keeper.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I think its good, and my husband kept saying how good it was with every bite, he just loved it. I used cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken, and beef broth in place of water. It cooked from probably close to 8 hours and i swear it didn't look done inside so i stuck the in the microwave for about 4 minutes and they looked better. I will make this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
Ok, I had to come back and change my 1st review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The first time i made this it had absolutly NO flavor at all. I decided to give it another try. what i did this time was: put in chicken, butter and 1 can of soup, topped that w/ paprika, alot of poultry seasoning, lots of onion powder and garlic powder, plenty of parsley and basil, some salt and pepper, and half a sweet onion chopped and 3 cloves garlic chopped. Added some chicken broth, then another can of soup and more broth, and topped that w/ chopped carrots and chopped green onions and more salt. if i had celery and peas i would've added those but i didn't. and instead of using the regular homestyle biscuits, i used the butter biscuits that i'd bought by accident. Trust me the butter ones are much better then regular and gives it more flavor. this was sooooooo good, i will be making this alot now.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
really good i have made this twice. My husband absolutly loves it. It says it makes 4 servings but i doubled this recipe and it only served 2. I used beef broth instead of water, added salt and pepper, and a little garlic powder. I also left out the Worcestershire sauce. I never use a condensed soup in any recipe, for this I used Health Valley Organic Cream of Mushroom. This is such a good recipe.

Pecan Pancakes with Spiced Syrup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
Well I liked the syrup, but thats about it. The pancakes weren't very fluffy at all, they had a weird texture to them, the flavor was ok, but i dont think i'll be making these again.

This is excellent. I made this for my husband, and i'm not really allowed to eat it since it's made with soy sauce, but i sampled a little and i wanted to eat it all, it was perfect. I did use low sodium soy sauce.
