My name is Stephanie, I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I attended the Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts, both cooking and baking programs. I like to think that I am more of a pastry chef. Baking runs in my family. My mother's family owned and opperated a bakery in Hershey for over 55 years. I love to bake and make food for friends and family.

My favorite family cooking traditions
My Nana, Grandmother and Mother are AMAZING when it comes to old family traditions. My Mother's side of the family is very Italian!! You can imagine what holiday meals are like! We stick to the same tradional thing for Thanksgiving. But when Christmas rolls around, we go all out. Hundreds of cookies, pies and cakes. But the thing that means the most is the meal itself. My Nana made a tuna sauce that is to die for! We bread and fry fish and steaks, cauliflower fritters, fried celery. We make our own Italian rolls. It's great! The look on my family members faces every year is what makes it a great Christmas!!
My cooking triumphs
I am still "new" as a professional in this feild. I had a recipe of mine published in a local paper. My 'Dark Chocolate Black Raspberry Torte' is so tasty! I came in 3rd in a local Soup cook off. I was up against some amazing mwn and women in the area. It was a charity event, so winning didn't mean that much.
My cooking tragedies
When you first start out, there are to many "drops", "flops" and mistakes. I have forced myself to forget those drops and flops!
