Waldorf Salad I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
This was a big hit at for a party! The only changes were using Honeycrisp apples, craisins instead of raisins, and pecans instead of walnuts. I also seasoned it with salt, pepper, and celery seed. I did not have time to whip the heavy cream, so I omitted it. I will make this many times in the future. I also added chicken one time, and turkey breast another.

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
My family loved it! I would use hot sausage next time and only 1 pound of hash browns. However, this is an excellent recipe for a cozy Sunday breakfast.

Delicious taste. Even though I cut downt he cooking time, the pork still was pretty tough. It was like chewing pork chop gum.

French Toast Corners

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
I needed 3 eggs for 6 pieces of toast and that was a stretch. Making toast points was a nice twist on French toast though.

Oriental Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
Not bad. I forgot the oil, but I am glad that I did. It was a nice lunch to use up some leftover grilled chicken breast.

Dave's Low Country Boil

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2006
This recipe is outstanding. We added some white onions, lemons, and garlic cloves to the water. We also added Old Bay plus some Cajun seasoning to spice it up. The next day, we combined the leftover seafood and sausage with some mayo and celery for yummy cold sandwiches.
