My cooking triumphs
My original recipe Rooibus Brulee Pancakes are just about the most impressive brunch dish I've ever had, and everyone I've served them to agrees so far. I've also been dubbed a "cookie genius" for my chocolate chunk pecan cookies.
My cooking tragedies
My first time making a pasta sauce made based on pureed fresh spinach, I didn't realize just how thoroughly those greens needed to be washed- the whole dish was gritty.

Fluffy French Toast
Absolutely the best French Toast recipe you could ask for. Too often French Toast is soggy, thick, and mushy. Not this one! I served it with the sauteed apples found here on allrecipes, and it was the hit of the brunch!

Pomegranate Stew with Chicken (Khoresh Fesenjan)
Absolutely delicious! The flavors all steep together gloriously, and it's got the same distinctive flavor you find in fine Persian restaurant fesenjan. I mixed chicken breasts and thighs, but to my surprise I found the thighs much tastier, as the cooking time was too long for the drier breast meat. I will definitely make this again!

Sauteed Apples
Wonderful and easy recipe! For a classy twist, I steeped the water in chai tea before adding to the recipe, and the blend of flavors was marvelous!
