About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, especially cookies. My favorite time to cook is in the fall because I love sweet potatoes and apples. I am getting better and love to try new recipes!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I enjoy making cut out cookies for Christmas and frosting them all- time consuming but fun.
My cooking triumphs
Making a perfect Thanksgiving dinner all by myself on my first try. I was pretty nervous about making a turkey but it was a lot easier then I thought.
My cooking tragedies
I thought I would keep some french toast warm in the oven while I finished making other things for breakfast. For some reason, don't ask me why...I turned on the broiler and forgot about it for a while. I burnt it to a crisp!

Unsloppy Joes
A little too spicy for my taste- but pretty good...will make again but with less pepper.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars III
Very yummy! I added more powdered sugar to the topping to make it more crumbly- going according to the recipe it just becomes thicker peanut butter. Besides that very easy and good!

Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes
Potatoes were excellent but the pork wasn't as moist as I was expecting it to be.
