Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
Wonderful soup. I did add other veges that I wanted to use up and it handled the additions just fine. I threw in 6 spears asparagus, 1/2 head cabbage, 6 carrots; all diced bite size. Could have used more asparagus but I was just using up what I had left over. It cooked down and was perfect without adding any additional liquid. Everyone loved it.

Banana Pound Cake With Caramel Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Very good, I received many remarks about how wonderful it was. A nice change from traditional banana bread. I followed the recipe as far as the ingredients go. I baked it in a bundt cake pan and it rose above the rim of the pan. It also took 1 hr and 35min in my oven to finish baking. I allowed the cake to cool for the 10 min in the pan then turned it out onto a cooling rack. Then I used a spoon to slowly drizzle the glaze over the entire cake. It turned out very nice and pretty. Very moist! Make sure to allow to cool completely before covering.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
Loved this recipe. Perfect for using two ingredients so readily available at the same time of year. Great for gift giving. I think I'll try some of the healthy substitutions suggested by reviewers next time, but it was wonderful just as written. I did have to adjust baking time for my oven to 1 hr and 20 min.

Big-Batch Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
Absolutely delicious! They turned out perfect and beautiful. I had lost my favorite old time butterscotch cookie recipe and was looking for a replacement. This worked great and the cookies are just what I wanted. I did decrease the flour a little. I made a third of a batch just to try it out and for that amount I used 1 1/3 Cups flour which would work out to 4 Cups if your making the big-batch. They were perfect!

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly and it was very easy and turned out great. Everyone said it was just wonderful and the chicken breasts were very moist and tender. I could have made twice as much and I think it still would have all been eaten! Definately a hit and will make again.
