Holiday Cheese Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
These were fantastic! Even my meat and potatoes husband loved them. For a twist, I rolled the roasted pepper batch in smoked paprika. Delish!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
Excellent recipe! I had no problems with separation, but it did take a long time to get to temp. The time involved was totally worth it and the toffee was devoured.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: May 24, 2007
These came out perfectly! The only changes I made were upping the cinnamon as others suggested and I added a tbsp of white vinegar to lowfat milk since I did not have buttermilk. I will definitely be making these again. Also, Others commented on the recipe making more than stated. This depends on the size of waffle maker you have. I have a kitchenaid pro waffle maker that does two big round waffles at a time - one on top and one on bottom. I doubled this recipe and was able to get 5 1/2 waffles.

Peanut Butter Balls III

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
These were AWESOME! I used natural peanut butter - 1 c. crunchy & 1 c. creamy. Per other reviews, I only used 2 c. powdered sugar. I dipped half iof the balls in 65% cacao chocolate and the other half in melted white chocolate. Both were excellent, but the white chocolate dipped balls were TO DIE FOR! Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
Loved these scones! My oldest son requested blueberry scones after tasting one at a bakery last week. As I do with many new recipes I want to try, I came to to find just the right recipe. I am so glad I did. After tasting just one, my son quickly told me he would eat the entire batch! (Of course, his eyes were bigger than his stomach.) I doubled the recipe, but made 30 smaller scones out of the dough. Instead of currants, I used frozen European (small) blueberries. I also just pulled off pieces of dough, as a previous reviewer mentioned, and I sprinkled the tops with Florida Crystals sugar instead of using the egg wash. I will be making these again, for sure.
