Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
Very tasty the first day and the second!! My husband liked it as well. It turned out a little dry though, I tend to like my stroganoff a little creamier. Next time I'll add a bit more soup and sour cream to see if it creates more sauce.

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: May 28, 2006
I've been looking for a good meatlof recipie for awhile and after reading some of the other reviews, I tweaked this a bit and it turned out great. I used lime instead of lemon juice, 1/2 pkg of cornbread stuffing mix instead of shredded bread, and a couple dashes of worchestershire, soy and tobasco instead of bouillon. It was moist and flavorful. My husband loved it. I'll definitely be making this again!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2006
I thought there was a bit too much sauce for the amount of chicken in this recipie, but it's still tasty. Next time i won't make as much sauce or add more chicken.

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
This is a great recipie!! And so easy! Several of the other reviews said that they weren't able to get the meat to shred so to combat that I used a top round roast and put it in the crock pot with a little water & a bay leaf for 4 hours. Then i cut the roast into small cubes (a lot of it was shredding at that point), and then back in the crock pot for another 6 hours. It was extremely tender, and just fell apart. Next time I'll use a little less water as the broth was a bit too much, but I'll definitely be making this again!

Shannon's Lower Fat Chile Relleno

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
I couldn't find chile peppers so substituted with another spicy pepper my store had, and pepper jack cheese. Couldn't get the chicken as closed as I would have liked, so most of the cheese ended up in the dish but it got scooped on top so all was not lost. The cornmeal made it a bit dry, but still tasty.

Grilled Chicken Wraps

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
These were easy to make and delicious! I substituted turkey bacon and added some chopped bell peppers (simply because I had some on hand that needed to be used). I doubled the recipie to freeze them for lunches, and they reheat wonderfully.

Mom's Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
I made these "rolls" for Thanksgiving because I wanted a simple roll recipie this year. I wish I'd read all the reviews first - they were terrible! The only thing I did different was use butter instead of margarine. I couldn't get enough flour added to the recipie and the batter rose to create a bubbly spongy mess that fell everytime i moved the bowl and had to be scooped with a spoon. i left it to rise extra time hoping it would solidify into dough. They came out of the oven flat, hard and tasted awful. Definitely do not recommend this recipie.
