Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These are awesome!! I've never made oatmeal cookies but I've had them and these blow the store bought away. So flavorful! I'm sending them to my hubby in Iraq so we'll see what the critc says. Thanks for the yummies!!

Sugar Cookie Frosting

For some reason I was having so much trouble finding a recipe for sugar cookies and the frosting like my great Aunt used to make.....this icing is pretty exact and so so yummy!! Complimented my cookies perfectly!! Thanks for the recipe

Maple Pancakes

These are yummy!! I took the advice of everyone and didn't change a thing! My son is munching on the right now and they are soo fluffy. I think this actually makes more than 2 servings! Thanks for a wonderul breakfast!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were an absolute hit with my family and my husbands co-workers. I used banana cream puddig mix (it was the only one I had enough mix of) and peanut butter and chocolate chips. Everyone was playing name that flavor. I just baked them today using white chocolate pudding mix which I don't recomend b/c you can't really taste the flavor as much. Once again....wonderful recipe!!!

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

I absolutely love this recipe. We are BBQ'ng tomarrow but I tested it out...Awesome!! I used chipotle hot sauce with it and it gave it just the right kick and just alittle tang. I strained it also. My hubby doesn't like onions floating all around. I'm sure the flavor will be great after it's blended for a day!! Thanks for the great recipe!!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

I wasn't sure how this was gonna come out. I'm used to making my moms meatloaf. This was really easy and yummy. I liked that it looks like a jelly roll. I drizzled some ketchup on top, that's what I do with meatloaf.And this is the quickest my son's ate meat in awhile.

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

I followed this recipe exactly. It was soo spicy, but good. I made my own cajun seasoning from a recipe on this site. So, with that next time I'll cut in half and see how it is. Better to have it alittle less than too too much. Regardless, I will be cooking this up again!!

Chicken Scampi I

Wonderful!! It wasn't what I thought it would be, but still so good. The left over marinade that I heated up was way too lemony for this house. Next time I'm going to discard the chicken marinade when ready took and concoct my own using the recipe.

Mexican Rice II

My family and I thought this was really good. Although I had alittle problem with the rice absorbing the liquid. I think the cooking time should be doubled. But other than that, awesome. Will be making again.

I think this is a great starter recipe. I was looking for something with alittle more zest. Next time I'll try adding pepper or maybe paprika. This is great with veggies or a warm bread.

Artichoke Spinach Dip

This was yummy. My husband and I have been trying different dips for a while trying to find something like the restuarants. This was very close. I added garlic like lots had said and made a way smaller batch. I know next time I'll make xtra to save. MMmmm!!!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

This is a great sauce. I took others opinions and simmered for alittle over an hour. It allows all the flavor to blend more. My only suggestion is alittle less oil. I don't like to have an oily sauce. You can try to skim it off the top but that's tetious and alittle difficult. I used it on a pizza I made and save the left overs for some spinach manicotti. This is a wonderful recipe if you're looking for something quick!

Bourbon Chicken

This is a good recipe. I was looking for something that you'd find at the restuarant and this is good to work from. I think instead of packing the sugar it should be in your cup lightly. And I think I will add alittle bit of h20 next b/c it was very salty due to the soy and alittle dry, even with all the basting.

Amy's Spicy Beans and Rice

This recipe was great!! I love trying new things out on my husband who, by the way, loves spanish food. This was great. We had no left overs. The only thing I suggest is that if you like alittle extra rice make some b/c this was just enough for 4 in my house. yum! Thanks again.
