Seafood Cioppino

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I have make this three times now. Each time with a different sampling of seafood. It is worth it to take the time to simmer, but it is easy as pie and better than any I tried in San Fransico

Creamy String Bean Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
Delicious, I used fresh green beans and put in at begining. I like mine with more vinegar and used almost a 1/4 cup. Didn't use any sausage. It brings back good childhood memories. As a bonus, it does not get easier than this.

Green Bean and Potato Salad

Great way to prepare a potato salad without the traditional mayo. It is a keeper. My Next time, I'll try a little less olive oil just to cut down calories.

Czech Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2006
I finally tried this as a guy who enjoys the cabbage. My wife actually ate it and very much enjoyed it. It is tough to please her food wise. I'm rating this as a 5, simply as cabbage dishes go this is fantastic.

Lamb Stew with Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2006
I remember thinking that the recipe was too easy and basic to be that good. It was absolutely fantastic! The spices are a perfect blend with the tomato sauce. It is not a strong flavor for those who like bursting flavor or spice. It is more subtle and quite delicious.

Tomato Barley Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2005
I doubled the batch and tossed it in a slow cooker with cabbage. I did not toss in the water, but did do the broth and it ended up as a stew rather than a soup. It was very hearty and quite delicious. Thanks
