Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2015
Outstanding! I used golden mushroom soup instead of mushroom and red wine instead of the vermouth. And I cooked it for 5 hours at 275, adding cut up potatoes and carrots the last two hours. The gravy was thick and tasty and the meat was very tender! Probably the best pot roast I've ever made! Definitely a keeper!

YUM! I followed RivertownMom's suggestions and used mozzarella instead of cheddar, and lots of fresh basil and oregano too! It ended up filling a 9x13 and turned out absolutely delcious!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
Made this tonight for a crowd so made one beef and one turkey and both were a hit! I didn't use mushrooms because I didn't have any, but added some finely chopped onion, red bell pepper and garlic. Delish!

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Very easy to make and delicious. I used fat free sour cream, skim milk with 1 tablespoon of vinegar instead of the buttermilk and didn't add the caraway seeds cuz I didn't have any. The result was a very quick, low fat and yummy bread! NExt time I might try using half whole wheat flour. Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
I've been making a potato soup recipe similar to this one for a long time, but now this will be my go to recipe. Even though the ingredients are very similar to mine, this soup was even more delicious! Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

Made it today and loved it. pretty much followed the recipe except reduced the butter to make it lower in fat. Enjoyed the apple, pear, cranberry combination.

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
Delicious! I used half oil, half applesauce, as well as half whole wheat flour, but they still tasted very indulgent! Will definitely make these again - very quick and easy to throw together too.

Delicious! I followed this recipe and JOANN74's suggestions on microwaving the squash and adding in a can of italian tomatoes. Probably the best veggie dish I've eaten in a long time!
