Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Yum! I used the 8oz pkg of cream cheese and only used about half of the container of extra creamy cool whip. It is great... very thick and fluffy. Awesome straight off of the spoon! ;o)

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
This cake was rich, dense, and moist... everything I want in a chocolate cake. I put a layer of chocolate ganache between the two cakes, and then frosted with a seven minute frosting. yum!

Seven Layer Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
What's not to love? Here are the changes that I made though: I use regular butter (not unsalted) and actually mix the crumbs together with the butter in the bottom of the pan. And then I use pecans instead of walnuts and, of course, put the milk on last over everything. They are so rich and yummy!! You really can use any kind of chips or nuts or whatever you have on hand... almost all combinations turn out great!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I do love these pancakes! I have been making them for a couple years. I was on the hunt for a great pumpkin pancake recipe after having some at IHOP. Now, these are so much better than I won't even eat the ones at IHOP. I do add quite a bit (about double) the spices, a little molasses and pecans. I l-o-v-e them!!

Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I followed HJONES999 recommendations and this cake was WONDERFUL. It was moist and delicious. A friend actually made it for my birthday cake and it was great. I have since used the recipe several times for cupcakes... using no coconut to make a white cake and extra coconut and coconut flavoring along with lots of toasted coconut on top for coconut cupcakes. Delicious!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Minor changes: added more cinnamon/spices. Also used 1 cup brown sugar/.5 cup white sugar. Also frosted with a cream cheese frosting with cinnamon mixed in. I've made them twice and people loved them both times. They were gone in no time... will make again!

Molasses Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
I love this cookie. I have been making it for a couple years. I add a little extra flour as it seems to help them sit up a little better. Make sure that the dough is well chilled. Also, I do go a little heavy on the spices. They are very moist and chewy. I usually sprinkle a little coarse sugar on top of these before they go in the oven for a little extra special touch. Crowd pleaser! Oh, I also use butter instead of margarine and use brown sugar instead of the white

White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
Yum! This recipe was great. I made two little changes....left the nuts out, and used dried cherries instead of the cranberries. These went FAST!

White Velvet Cutouts

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
These cookies are awesome. I have been making them for a few years now. I actually was on a quest for the best cut out cookie. My family and friends judged between about five different recipes one Christmas. This one was by far the winner. You get a taste of the cream cheese and its butterlicious. If I'm taking them somewhere I always double the recipe to make enough. I always get requests for the recipe! Enjoy!

These bars are awesome. Sure they are really sweet, but that's the point. chocolate and peanut butter-yummmmm. They disappeared. Next time I will try it with milk chocolate chips I think.
