Scrambled eggs on Easter morning, pork chops and sauerkraut at New Year's, freezing hundreds of Christmas cookies and having Christmas in July. My mom taught me the art of a chewy snickerdoodle and how to make a good tomato sauce from scratch.

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad
This is really good. It made SO MUCH. I had 3 very big cucumbers, one small onion, and I followed the recipe exactly. I did salt the sliced cucumbers before as some users suggested to cut down on the liquid. Very tasty, I will make this for the next BBQ when there will be a lot of people around to eat it.

Chewy Sugar Cookies
so yummmy!! perfect chewy, flat cookie. I used butter and they flattened out quite a bit, but that's how I like my cookies. My bf likes chocolate, so on a few of them, I put some milk chocolate chips on top of the cookie when they came out of the oven. These were really good too. I'll definitely make these again!

Chewy Brownie Cookies
I made these with butter and omitted the water. They were kind of flat but I like my cookies that way. They were chewy and chocolatey - really good! I added 3/4 tsp. chipotle powder for a kick, and although the smokiness was not what I was looking for (next time I'll use cayenne) the kick was perfect. Overall, these cookies are fantastic!
