My Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
Great recipe! Very moist and flavorful. The chunks of bread kind of threw me off so next time instead of ripping the bread I think I may either put it in the food processor for smaller pieces or just use bread crumbs.

Baked Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
Well, I followed the recipe exactly... After baking the cake for the correct time it still wasn't done in the center. Forty minutes later it was done but the middle had sunk and there was a hard crust formed over the top... I ended up throwing it away. Maybe I screwed something up, I don't know, but I was very dissapointed.

My Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
The great thing about this recipe, you can alter it according to your tastes. We like beans so I doubled the amount of beans but drained the liquid so the chili would remain thick. I also didn't have fresh garlic and onions on hand so I used dried and it still tasted fine. As it's cooking you can add more of anything to adjust it to your liking.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I only used the meatball recipe, but it was so good that I can't wait to try the sauce too! I used ground beef that had a very low fat content(I didn't want the fat renduring into my sauce). They were tender and flavorful! Great for pasta or even Meatball Subs!

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
After reading all the other ratings and some trial and error, I finally succeeded! The cookies are great! I whipped the butter on high speed in my kithcen aid seperatly first. Then I slowly added the dry ingredients and whipped them again on high speed. I don't think it's possible to over whip them... The first batch I cooked for 10 minutes(after reading the reviews) but the cookies just fell apart. So I cooked the next batch until the edges began to turn a slight golden color. Yummy! I drizzled milk chocolate over them once they cooled. Great Recipe!
