Too Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2015
My only change was reducing sugar and adding cinnamon to peaches and a sprinkling on top before baking. This is wonderful!

Preacher Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2015
I make these with Splenda and a little more crumbly but still that chocolate fix even diabetics need. Make regular for the grandkids and we love them. Sometimes crunchy, sometimes creamy peanut butter, sometimes add coconut and my youngest grandchild loves raisins or dried cranberries in them.

These are just wonderful! Bake as is or add raisins, nuts, fruit - whatever you like. I've even added carrots and zucchini, all with fabulous results. Can't praise them enough!

Peaches 'N Cream Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2014
I make this on regular pie crust and it is fantastic. Try using apples - yummy. I've also used blackberries, blueberries and huckleberries. You can also replace the sugar with Splenda. My favorite pie!

Willy Wonka Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2013
I made these for my grandchildren and they loved them. I subbed carrots for the rutabaga. They thought they were fun and said they looked like dinner on the movie HOOK. Next time they suggested stirring in some mixed vegetables for more color.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Not only is this great with apples - try it with pears. You adjust sugar to taste. Some apples are sweeter than others. I make Pear Butter too and it is wonderful. I also run this through the blender after cooking to make it extra smooth.

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Not only was this wonderful with apples, I also tried it with pears and it was delicious. Since I had a lot of fruit on hand, I made several of each and froze them unbaked in aluminum pans.

A Southern Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
This is wonderful chicken and will be on my table often. I also marinated overnight in the buttermilk mixture. This is real Southern fried chicken like my grandmother used to make! I found 375 too hot so cooked at 300. Thanks for sharing this one!

Kitchen Sink Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
I love these cookies. I add mini M&M's, different chopped nuts, Smarties, sometimes peanut butter, whatever I have around the house and they are always wonderful. My kids loved them when they were small and still love them in their 30's!

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
I love these cookies. Toss in a cup of peanut butter and mini M&M's for the kids. I double the batch, roll in balls, freeze on cookie sheets, bag and keep in the freezer. You have fresh baked, hot cookies in a few minutes by doing this. I've made them with Rice Krispies and Total cereal also, used walnuts, pecans or peanuts. Coconut is also a wonderful addition. Can't say enough about these cookies!
