Cranberry Pork Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
I used brown sugar, subbed orange juice, didn't use the dried mustard. This was very good, it is now one we eat often. The pork is very moist and tasty from the cranberries. Will make again and again, thanks Valerie!

Orange Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
Kitchen Aid Blender is the way to mix up that orange! I love this recipe just as it is, the orange and pumpkin make the loaf moist. I've made about 50 of these since I first discovered the recipe! Friends and family ask for the recipe all the time, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
OMG! These are the best! I mix the dry ingredients together and leave them in a zip lock bag for a few days. (Usually make that up ahead so on Thanksgiving I can bake these fresh. The flavors really work thru the flower and other ingredients this way, I think it is much better.) These are very moist. I really chop the cranberries in the mini processor, then pour them in juice and all to keep them moist. Don't overbake, or they can be dry. We love these, and have had them for over 15 years at Thanksgiving. I found this in a magazine many years ago, this is a tradition at our house. To store, keep in a zip lock bag, they are moist and the flavors get better as they sit.

Nutty Crispy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
crisyp, crunchy, like a pecan sandy at the grocery store, absolutely the best cookie! I will make these again and again. I put them on my holiday trays that I take to my neighbors, they called me for the recipe. Imagine their surprise when I told them I found it on the internet!

Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
I read the reviews, and decided to give this recipe a try. I made it exactly as it is on the site, it was wonderful. Then, I decided to try some stronger coffee, we love the flavor at our house, I used Medaglia D'Oro, an instant espresso, the flavor is very 'mocha'. I like it just as well both ways, the cookies seemed to be moister with the instants espresso??? No reason to, the cookies are made the same way.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
Wow, I love this recipe! I do not care for chocolate, seems that every no bake cookie recipe is all about the chocolate version of these. I have made them and made them, and I am now looking at making quite a few recipes by this submitter! Thanks for the quick recipe!

Jean's Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This recipe is perfect every time! I start the time when the syrup starts to boil, another recipe on this site says to do that, too! I have not had it burn, I stir it quite a bit while it cooks. Watch the heat. Thanks for the great recipe, I now can make chocolate and the peanut butter fudge (from this site) without fail! My mother used to say some people are candy makers and some not, I am so glad I can do it!

I have made this recipe for at least 2 years, but never got around to rating it, we eat pot roast often in the winter months. My family will ask for this recipe more often than not. Thanks for a great recipe.

Apricot Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
Yummy, I had this at a Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, the woman directed me to this recipe on allrecipes.com. I have made quite a few of the recipes from this site in the past, this one is a keeper for sure, I am making it for my family dinner tomorrow, can't wait to see their faces when I tell them it has baby food in it! Thanks again, Cindy!

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
Uh, Oh, I am in trouble here, this is to die for! I have a few things I would like to say, if you change a recipe around, and then rate it, you are rating YOUR recipe, not this one.......which is why I do not give recipes out to people that 'play' with recipes. I hate when I am begged for a recipe, then when I see the person again, they just hate that recipe, because they did this and that and that to it, and mine tasted so much better, well, DUH! Cindy thank that woman with the 12 kids for us, will you?

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Nadine S gave good hints, you start the time when the syrup starts to boil, this fudge is the best, I have been making it for a year or more for every holiday event, people rave and ask for the recipe. I didn't make fudge with much success until I found this recipe, thanks Janet!

Dog Food Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
UNBELIEVABLE recipe. I have known about this recipe for years, we call it Alpo dip, but I bet they won't let you call it by that name on the site, because it is a trademark name. This is the best, be sure to add the jalapenos to your taste, the flavor gets stronger over nite, which is why you make it the nite before, so the flavors 'marry'. We love this, it is addicting, so be warned! Kim

Fruity Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
I have made this recipe for 20 years for family get togethers, have not ever made a change to the ingredients, it comes out perfect every time, and is one of my all time favorites. Adding a 6 oz. package of jello would not be good, it would be gritty and would not set, I had a friend that did that......why? Don't know, there is hardly 1/4 c. of juice in a can of pineaple this size. I worried the first time I made it that there wouldn't be enough liquid. BE SURE TO NOT ADD THE WHOLE CAN OF 7up, it will be runny, this is too much liquid. Love this recipe! Oh, and all jello recipes should be done the day before you need it, don't make this in the morning and think it will be ready in the afternoon. I never do that, you are playing Russian Roullette. (SP?)
