This turned out to be like a banana spice cake. I made some modifications to the recipe. First, I reduced the oil to 1/2 cup and added an additional 1/2 cup of mashed bananas. I reduced the sugar to 1 cup and baked in a 9 x 13 pan so it was almost like a cake. For the icing, I only had 2 cups of icing sugar and there was still plenty for the bars. Will definitely make again.

It Won't Last Cake

This cake was yummy. I made a few variations: I reduced the oil to 2/3 cup and added an additional 2/3 cup of mashed bananas. I reduced the sugar to 2 cups, substituted 1 cup of chocolate chips for the pecans, added 1 Tblsp. of cocoa and ommitted the cherries. It turned out great. Also, I made a small loaf pan and advise people to pull it out sooner or it will burn on the bottom. Will definitely make again and will try with cherries next time.

Cranberry Applesauce Muffins

My family loved these muffins. I made a couple of changes: I substituted canned whole cranberries for the oil and instead of the nuts I added chocolate chips. It had a wonderful texture and the chocolate mixed with the cranberries tasted yummy.

Sugarless Fruitcake

Apple Carrot Muffins

My family just loved these muffins...I am a bit of a health nut..I substituted the oil with apple sauce..I didn't have Raisin Bran so used 1 cup oatmeat & 3/4 cups bran & they turned out great...

Simply Divine Meat Loaf with Spinach

This was an excellent meatloaf...I made a few little changes..I only used 1/2 the onion soup and used milk instead of the Italian Dressing as I did not have any..I also made a topping from brown sugar,ketchup & mustard and spread on the top before baking...It turned out YUMMY...

Slow Cooker Lasagna

This lasagne was awesome...I did do some changes though...Instead of the cottage change I used sour cream with a beaten egg...Also after reading about dryness I used a 14oz jar of diced tomatoes instead of the tomato paste and I used spinach lasagne...Everyone loved it...

Chocaroon Cake

I made this for my daughter's birthday & it did not disappoint. This brought back memories of the bundt cakes I had as a child...I omitted the pudding by using a cake mix with the pudding already in it & it turned out great...I also made a glaze of 2 cups icing sugar,1 Tbsp.butter,2 Tbsp. milk,1 tsp. vanilla & 2 Tbsp. cocoa..

Spaghetti Carbonara II

This was really good..I added some chopped fresh spinach with the onion and fried it and a can of tomatoes...It was not dry at all...My family just loved it and it was a great way to get them to eat their spinach...Enjoy.

Enchiladas

This recipe was great..Kids loved it...I had a burrito kit on hand so used that..I substituted green pepper for the jalapeno (my family doesn't like hot foods) Also used sour cream instead of the yogurt. I didn't have Cream of Chicken soup so used Cream of Celery instead..It was still excellent and I can't wait to try it with the Cream of Chicken soup next time...
