I started cooking after I had custody of my two daughters in 1995. In 1998 I enrolled into the Culinary Arts Program at Boise State University. I did 3 semesters and started working at Spurwing Country Club in Meridain Idaho. I started as the dish washer and after 4 years was the head day chef. I did the soups and the daily special and put the menu together. Currently I 've been working at Ban Bury Golf Club in Eagle,Idaho and do some of the soups and specials.

I love making soups!! There are so many things you can do. I Like to make different kinds of soups and do some the traditional ones.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother did a soup like dish that was ham, red potatoes , onions and green beans. I loved it as a child and still cook it today for myself and my daughters.

Trying to make an angel food cake at Boise State. It flopped! Sank like a wounded ship!
