Refrigerator Nut Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This was the surprise hit of my Christmas baking this past year. I halved the recipe and STILL had a lot of cookies. They freeze well, and are a nice addition to my cookie trays.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
These are great...and they really are easy! The dough is nice to work with; I often make these for holidays and events at school (the kids really love them!). They are great paired up with the sugar cookie icing (or the frosting...I've used both).

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
I've made this a few times this summer, and it's gone over very well. I made the chips the first time and they were great; the next time I got lazy and bought the cinnamon pita chips from Trader Joe's. It was great with both, and even good eaten just as a fruit salad. Be sure to make it a few hours ahead of time so it has time to set.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This recipe definitely deserves its 5-star rating...these are amazing! I'm usually not a fan of turkey burgers, but I actually prefer these over regular hamburgers most of the time.

Key Lime Cake II

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This is one of our new summer favorites! I wouldn't call it "lime," but it does have a great citrus flavor. Very light...great when served with strawberries.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
This was an amazing recipe! I couldn't imagine a better lasagna. Very simple to prepare, and the perfect combination of ingredients (the italian sausage makes it!) Thanks for the recipe!

Apple-Cheddar Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
I made this for a family dinner and it went over great. The dressing was a bit sweet for a one person (that would be my husband), but everyone else gave it rave reviews. I used a Granny Smith apple (coated in lemon juice so it wouldn't brown), green leaf lettuce, and shredded cheese instead of cubed. Very easy...I'll certainly make this again.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I made this for a party over the summer and wound up eating half of it myself. This is an excellent recipe! We ate it both on its own and with corn chips (like salsa). It's a bit time-consuming with all of the chopping, but it's worth it. Will definitely make again!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
These are my all-time favorite muffins! I bake them every Sunday and freeze them so we have breakfast for the week. My 4-year-old loves them, too. I omit the raisins and nuts (not a fan of either), but there's nothing I would change about this recipe. Thank you!

Corn Chowder IV

This is my favorite comfort food recipe. I also add the extra can of corn and chopped red pepper. It freezes well, too. Definitely a keeper!

Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2006
I made this recipe with an open mind...I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was fantastic! I gave several bowls away, and they were well received, too. I will certainly make this again. The bacon bits are a good addition; I think next time I will add some corn and green/red pepper as well.

Scalloped Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
This gets SIX stars! I made this a couple of weeks ago for a family dinner, and it was gone within minutes. The sweetness and texture are perfect. I'm making it again today for Thanksgiving dinner, and I'm sure it will be a staple for years to come. Thank you!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
I didn't have enough time to throw together cinnamon rolls this Thanksgiving morning, so I made this instead....absolutely wonderful! I used the vanilla yogurt/milk combination since I didn't have any buttermilk, and it worked great. I also doubled the crumb mixture. Great, easy recipe.

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
These are great! I haven't had a popcorn ball since I was a kid...our neighbor used to make them for Halloween. That's exactly what I did for my girls' Halloween parties this year, and they were a huge success! I brought them to work, too, and they were gone very quickly. They are easy and fun to make....just make sure your hands are well greased!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I've made this twice in the past month, and have gotten many requests to make it again! I like the recipe just as it is; I wouldn't change a thing. The second time I made it, though, I had a problem...the bottom and sides burned and the middle collapsed because it was still raw. My husband performed "surgery" to save the good parts...it was worth the save! I may turn down the heat and cook longer next time to see if that helps. My kids (7 and 4) love this, too.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
Fantastic recipe! Very easy to make, but make sure that the jam is at room temperature or it's difficult to spread. A homemade version of Nutrigrain bars (only better!)...they're great as dessert OR breakfast.

Chocolate Mint Candy Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
I made this for my daughter's bday party. Very tasty, and not too sweet. I decorated it with some Junior Mints. Be sure to refrigerate...I made this a bit too close to party time (I didn't realize the topping would be so soft!), so I put it in the freezer for 2 hours. Will make again.

Quinoa Pudding

I really wanted to like this recipe, but there was just something missing. I think I expected it to be a bit creamier.
