Mushroom Omelet

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
At the advice of a master chef I always add small curd cottage cheese to my omelets and scrambled eggs. It keeps them moist, light and fluffy. Add to any of your favorite omelet recipes.

It's Chili by George!!

I add tomatoes with green chili peppers, some diced bell pepper, 1 dried cayenne pepper and several garlic cloves. Top it off with shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese. Sometimes I add thin spaghetti.

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I prefer to use oyster sauce or teriyaki sauce as soy sauce is so overpowering.

G's Flank Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
This is a great marinade but I use a mixture of teriyaki sauce and oyster sauce because I find soy sauce to overpower other ingredients.

Hobo Dinner

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
Much too bland and dry. If I were to try it again I would add some tomatoes and juice to add some moisture and flavor. Maybe some additional veggies would help as well. It has potential but needs some work.

The Sarge's Goetta - German Breakfast Treat

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2005
Just like my mother used to make back in Cincy! I don't cook mine nearly as long as shown in the recipe. I found the oatmeal (steel cut) in the health foods section at Krogers. I have cut back on the amount of water as it gives the goetta a thicker consistency that makes it easier to fry. I also line the bread pan with wax paper that allows me to remove it from the pan and makes it easier to slice.
