This is an excellent recipe, my two year-old LOVES this. I've made it with shrimp and broccoli and chicken and broccoli. The store bought alfredo in a jar doesn't even compare. This is loaded with calories and fat, but it's well worth the splurge every once and a while. No problems with it getting thick enough either. One last tip, use fresh grated parmesan not the pre-packaged shredded stuff. I had trouble the second time I made this with getting the cheese to melt smoothly when I used the store shredded cheese.
