Sandy's Chocolate Cake

I've made this cake 3 times since trying it out last Christmas and everyone loves it. It's a huge cake and very rich and filling so it goes a long way. Question for all you bakers out there....Because of the sour cream in the frosting I've refrigerated the cake each time which takes a lot of fridg room. Does anyone make it and not refrigerate it??

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

I've been making this recipe for over 2 years. People ask me to make it all the time. In fact, my daughter insists I should make them and sell them. Everyone loves the blueberry but this weekend I decide to try something new. Instead of using the yellow mix I used a white cake and instead of blueberries I diced up some fresh strawberries. My mom liked it better than the blueberry, my daughter said every bit as much. Grandkids ate 2 pieces each!

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

I've done this with drumsticks, wingettes, breast fillets, and breasts cut into strips. All of them great! I also use Texas Pete as the hot pepper sauce since that's the preference in our area and by my husband. I have to admit I don't really measure but eyeball the ingredients but it's always wonderful. Full of flavor and always juicy. Great for race or football weekend!!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Wonderful on shrimp or pork. I've been asked for the recipe many times. I like to mix up the marinade, put it on a pork shoulder or butt, then freeze it. That way it's ready when we are.

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

Absolutely incredible! Husband raved over it. Actually considering replacing our traditional Prime Rib with this recipe for Christmas dinner. Makes great leftovers too. That is if there is any.

Weekend Brunch Casserole

Made this for breakfast one Sunday morning. My husband and mother thought it was great. Took the leftovers to work the next day and everyone raved and wanted the recipe. Plan on adding this to the Christmas breakfast menu.
