Easy Pizza Sauce I

I followed the recommendations of the others and cut the water down to 1 cup and the oil to 1/4 cup. Next time I will reduce the oil a bit more. I simmered the sauce on the stove for about 30 minutes and the oil rose to the surface. I ended up draining off some oil so I will reduce it further next time.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Spaghetti Squash I

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I used frozen chicken breasts, thawed and cut in half. When pounded out they were pretty difficult to wrap with the Swiss and ham. If I were to make this again, I would not halve the chicken as it was too small. Also, the sauce was too rich for our taste. Could do with half and just put a dollop on top each piece of chicken.

Shepherd's Pie VI

I made this for my family thinking they would really like it - cheese, mashed potatoes and beef. How can you go wrong? Apparently you can. My husband didn't even get past the second bite. It was too bland. If I were to make this again, I'd take the others suggestions and add worchershire sauce and maybe even the gravy. Adding mixed veggies instead of just carrots may be a good idea too.

This salad was great! Just took a few of the suggestions others posted including cutting the sugar (I used splenda) and oil in half. Also, added crumbled feta cheese. Delicious! This is a keeper.

Campbell's Kitchen Skillet Beef and Macaroni

Looks less than appealing but was surprisingly good. I used ground turkey in place of the beef. I added about 1/3 can of skim milk and a bit more salsa than what was called for. My husband and I really liked it. The kids thought it was just ok.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Yummy! I didn't have plain yogurt so I used 1/4 c. Sour cream and 1/4 c. Skim milk. I used 3 med. bananas which was just over one cup mashed. This is a keeper!

3-Cheese Mostaccioli Bolognese

We made this tonight for dinner and all loved it. My husband, 3.5 and 1.5 year old. I added Italian Seasonings and an extra cup of sauce before baking and then my husband and I added hot peppers and a garlic/pepper seasoning to our serving This tastes like lasagna but it is much faster to make!

Stuffed Pepper Soup I

Pretty good. I made some modifications like the others. I added 1 can rotel tomatoes, 1/2 cup water, 1 medium onion chopped, 1 T garlic minced. I would reduce the brown sugar next time and add some more spices.

I think this recipe has potential but we didn't care for it as is. I would cut the cinnamon down or out if I were to make this again. The smell and taste of the cinnamon was overpowering.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
