Sirloin Steak Dianne

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
Everytime I've made this it's been a hit. There is definately a lot of sauce left over, so I always make mashed potatoes with it and use the sauce as a gravy.

BBQ Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
As unusual as mixing these ingredients sound, I've found that everyone that has tried it has wanted the recipe. It's easy enough for anyone to make, I definately recommend doubling the topping though.

BB's Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
This is an easy and tasty dinner. You do need to season the chicken a bit with some poultry seasoning and garlic. Just don't add sallt. The stuffing makes it saty enough. Overall a very good recipe.

Irish Cream Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
All I can say is it has a wonderful flavor. I didn't find it overpowering at all. I made 3 batches; one as written, one with caramel Baileys, and one with Mint Baileys. They all went over well.

Grilled Shrimp and Apple Skewers

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
This is one of the best marinades that I have ever had on shrimp. the combination of sweet and spicy really make this shine. I've done this with chicken, scallops and shrimp. Everyone that has tried this keeps telling me I have to give them the recipe.

Jalapeno Strawberry Jam

Yummy! You can certainly adjust the heat by seeding or not the peppers. I love to serve it with cream cheese and wheat thins. My Dh puts it on toast. Thank you!

Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Absolutely wonderful, make sure you use a good vodka for it. If you want to skip the soaking your vodka in red peppers you can certainly get away with using a pepper vodka.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Nice change to the normal red sauced lasangas. It tastes a bit lighter and I like the fact that it has the spinach in it.

Raspberry Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
For the last 3 years I've been making this for Christmas, the family gets upset if it's not on the baking agenda. The top is a little soft, so make sure you keep it refrigerated. It's extremely rich, but how else is fudge supposed to be.

Eclair Cake

This is exactly like the Eclair Dessert that was served at a Deli by my house when I was younger. I'm glad to have found the recipe. Thank you.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
This recipe is a keeper, the flavors mix together so well. I made it as written and was very happy with the results. After that however to make things a little easier I baked the chicken in the over at 350 for 40 minutes and the pecans toasted beautifully without having to worry about burning them, the chicken was nice and moist.

Beef Tenderloin in a Port Shiitake Reduction

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This really is a good recipe, I've made it several times now and It's now on a regular rotation at the house. I've substituted stew meat instead of tenderloin in the past and it has come out just fine. It's the flavor that really works for this.

Rhubarb-Pineapple Jam

This tastes just like the jam my grandmother would make when I was growing up. I've made it and passed out several jars. It was a hit. Thanks for the nice reminder of growing up.

Crab-Stuffed Filet Mignon with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
This is a fantastic recipe! It takes a while to make, but it's worth it. I find that using the juice from the canned crab meat works instead of the water or shrimp stock as well. I also use Brandy instead of Whiskey. I'm not much of a whiskey fan, and I find the brandy has wonderful flavor that compiments this sauce well.

Brandy Flamed Peppercorn Steak

Easy to prepare, the brandy was just a little too strong of a flavor for me. The DH thought it needed something. I'll try tweaking a bit to see how it comes out.

Peppered Steak with Blackberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
I favorite of the DH, you can adjust the pepper to taste if you don't like it too spicy. The sauce compliments the peppers perfectly. I like to use a combination of peppers. Lemon pepper goes very well in the mix.
