Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
Scale back on salt. I wasn't paying attention, blindly followed the recipe and regretted it later. Oh, and I only used half the crushed red peppers and it was STILL spicy. Yikes!

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

I followed the recipe as it's written. Wayyyy too spicy. I love spicy, but seriously, you couldn't enjoy it.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Awesome. I cut the salt and the olive oil in half (hence the missing star), and doubled the garlic (we like garlic). Super easy, my oven took the full 40ish minutes.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Excellent. The only change I made was to add almost double how much cinnamon I added to the mix. The temperature and time was right on. People said they tasted better than starbuck's muffins! I will definitely make them again.

Lemon-Cream Cheese Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2010
I couldn't read through all the reviews to see the cooking time was off. So one batch was overcooked (it's annoying to have to trash cupcakes). The batch that wasn't overcooked was chewy. Not a big fan.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Awesome. Fudgy, chewy, chocolaty. Exactly what a brownie should be. Be careful and grease your pan really well. These brownies are sticky! They got great reviews!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

These are really popular. I didn't change anything about the recipe. It doesn't get better than 4 ingredients for awesome cookies.

Caramel Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Very easy. I had all the ingredients on hand, so throwing these together was quick. The only thing I changed about the recipe was to double the amount of the crust to produce more of a layer on the top. Took them to a bbq and they were a hit!

Yum Yums

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
Disaster. Not sure what went wrong, since I followed the recipe exactly, but the top crust never firmed up and the jam became super running.

Vegan Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
I opted to cut the fat in half and use half of the oil in the recipe and use applesauce to suplement. I used high quality dark cocoa, so that was good. They are a little cakey for my liking and you can definitely taste the oil. These aren't like eating the real deal, but they'll do if you can't have the real deal...
