Apple Spice Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2002
This is a very moist and flavorful cake! I added a little more of the spices, and cut down on the sugar and oil, but left out the raisins. I was very pleased with it this way, and will use it again! Great all around- thanks for offering it:)

Easy Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2002
What a great muffin recipe! Nice because it is low fat....I added apple sauce in place of the oil. If you do this, you may want to spray your muffin cups with a little cooking spray so the papers don't stick to the muffins. I also added some cinnamon and raisins. I also decreased the baking time by 5 minutes, as recommended by another user. The texture and taste are great! Thanks for offering this recipe:)

Slow Cooker Chicken Parisienne

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2002
A very tasty way to slow cook chicken! This was my first meal prepared in my new slow cooker, and I'm glad I chose it. I did follow some of the other reviews, and only cooked it for 6 hours. That seemed to be perfect. I also browned the chicken after seasoning it and added 3 cloves of fresh garlic. I used low fat sour cream (and cut it down to 1/2 cup) and that worked just fine. The sauce was great over rice as well.

Baked Stuffed Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2002
This is a great recipe! A fast and easy way to dress up prawns. I found that it was easier for me to layer the prawns in the pan, and top them with the crumb mixture....I'm sure that wouldn't work so good for dipping them after, but is great as a dinner main dish. Thank you for offering it:)

White Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2000
Great taste and easy too- good texture! Simple ingredients, but it was good! Make sure you don't burn your chocolate though! I use a large pan full of water witha smaller one on top to make a make-shift double broiler.

Melt In Your Mouth Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2000
This bread is great! I added chopped dates to make it special, and also put 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. Everyone who has tried it loves it! Note- make sure you add baking powder or it will not rise- I added 2 teaspoons for each batch, and some extra cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice too.
